[FKL] DJ Define - Full Spectrum

define.jpg
DJ Define, a prominent torchbearer of the KL breakbeat and brokenbeat scene, has submitted us a mix that will funk up your iPod till the muthaf*cker breaks.

Define has also played support for Soul Of Man, founder of leading UK breakbeat label, Finger Lickin’ Records in 2004 as well as making appearances at the December 05 and 04 Full Moon Party in Koh Pha Ngan, Thailand.

Today, Define plays a pivotal organizational role in the upandcoming Bongo! nights at Muse (in which FKL are very much in support of!). So if you swing on by the Muse - make sure you hook up with this comrade.

Deekline and Wizard remix - very nice. Very precise transition here - have you considered throwing a sampler into your mixes? All’s good with it so far - but I find that it lacks an edge in comparision to the other breaks DJs out there. What are your thoughts guys?

  5. thesuperglo wrote:

Well, i wouldn’t say it lacks the edge.
its just that alot of us are used to weird complicated nu-breaks stuff ala james zabiela / meat katie with lots of efx and loops and shit.

i like the flow on this mix better.
