The vibe was there. The mix was there. We were there. And we have decided that the party was sick.
A hefty night felted up with some smooth liquid atmospherics from Chi-pulp and Fickle HZ. Sadly, the MD-recorder crapped out with the batteries until thesuperglo could arrive with the power adapter.
BUT we still had the recordings and we patched up whatever we could. Sorry Fickle and Chi-pulp! Maybe next gig we can get a FULL recording!

With the MD-recorder back in action, we then started a close-to 1 hour recording of Radzy, who dashes in with some solid jump-up action and winding it crazy with some raggastep and oldschool breakdowns.
The gigantic recording ends with a grinding and powerful set from Anowl and Mac who never fail to get a crowd jumping and some bass smiting. MC Reza plays MC for the whole night with some nice shoutouts to FKL. (you rock Reza!)

Another superb mix for the month of June. SICK SICK SICK! Huge up to Low and Anowl for giving our good man Radzy a gig and letting us recording the killer night! Mad props.
thesuperglo can be found throwing together sets during the evenings back at FKL-HQ, accumulating a ton of mixes (most of which are mixed on whim and don’t contain tracklists).
These mixes, takes astral travelers into the current incarnations of progressive goa and deep, yet intensive, psychedelic trance.
So get ready to close your eyes and follow the bass, as thesuperglo channels his strange logic through these incredible mixes.

In the box from the Bongolians again, our man Kamo dishes the menu:
If you’ve ever wondered what a live recording in a small club sounds like when the DJs, sound engineers and everyone else including the bartender is drunk, well, wonder no further!
Just listen to these mixes, instead.
Bongo proudly presents an awesome dnb set from DJ Six, who just came back from music school in Manchester, more breakbeat chaos from The Adventures of Cutman and drum n bass newcomer Tubby, who also makes great canapés, believe it or not!
Sorry if the levels are a bit off; we were all really, really wasted.
It’s always a good thing when I get a mix from the sublime Blastique, his mixes have given current breaks DJ’s a run for their money. Maybe its the infusion between the electro grind and durty fat kicks, or that tracks are accurately mixed in key, or maybe because he’s got a tracklist to die for.
Whatever it is, this mix has been sitting in my box for a few months now - and only recently has he managed to dig out a tracklist for me (and you!)
The BIG wipe is tomorrow. We are cleaning up our space before we migrate to our new global platform in August.

For all the DJ’s that have been supporting the program so far: thank you. We have been gaining rankings on the net as well as receiving more and more media coverage, because of this, FoundationKL.org is growing in leaps and bounds and we can’t thank all of you enough.
I got this in the mail today. A friend of mind fwd this flyer to me - very exciting actually.
Loops Collective are one of the oldest DnB collectives in Malaysia. Forgive the horrible spelling and grammar - they mean well and they’ve thrown some great parties.
And our Radzy is playing so gotta give them cred!
