Eugene Lim, one of the hardworking founders of Tempo Events; one of the original club and outdoor event crews, managers of legendary club Movement and hosts of the explosive Regenerate outdoor parties.
thesuperglo and myself observed him dropping off from the taxi and immediately heading towards the console, like a guided missile. His mix-in from the club resident unmistakably announces his presence to a wild and approving crowd.
Its been a long time since we’ve seen Eugene at such top form. We certainly hope that the reception given to him by his newly-made fans at Maison can only encourage him to remain in excellent shape. A second coming indeed.
His mix, a blend of minimal dirt, tech-house, and his signature technical cuts and fades BURNED up the club to something far sinister looming from the horizon.
WHO IS DANIEL BAILEY AND WHY IS HE FUCKING MY SKULL?
Daniel Bailey is a DJ and promoter that has played resident at renowned nights Slinky, Honeyclub, Dance Academy, Good Greef, and Gatecrasher
His own night, FROLIC, has hosted giants, Pete Tong, Fergie, Sebastian Ingrosso, Tom Noby, Lottie, Eric Prydz, and a list of other master deck-jammers too long to list! His background also involves radio production, working extensively with the UK’s top radio stations, BBC Radio 1, Kiss, Galaxy, Vibe, and Fire FM.
Taking over the decks from Eugene, Daniel Bailey ramps up the night with a progressive blend leading up to a series of suffocatingly incredible technical mixes. His confidence with scratching and effect manipulation sets him clearly apart from many other DJs who have embraced the electrosexual house sound.
