Update: I can see. Thanks to thesuperglo and faridada for taking me to get my eyes fixed.
I wont update any of you on the 827 incident until later this weekend. We’re gonna immediately resume the FREE BURMA campaign starting with Aiman’s mix -
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT : To concentrate more on his music, Chairman Kuan has decided to forsake his eyesight in exchange for a heightened, more acute sense of hearing.
The Chairman is BLIND.
The terms of the deal made with SHIVA, eyesight will only be restored upon release of a new psychedelic track or dark psy mix.
Until then, stay tuned.
This is thesuperglo, signing off on behalf of the FKL crew.
For those of us who are unable to join us for Global Gathering and it’s subsequent afterparties: we certainly do hope you would be able to feel at least a little tingle while we get totally wiped out on some (hopefully) good music!
We’ve got some very exciting stuff planned for the next few weeks:
1. Forum. WE NEED A F*cking Forum.
2. FoundationKL.org-customized gmail and shared applications.
3. A FKL Wiki and our 1st Wikipedia entry.
4. First glimpses of the new f-0 site (what’s f-0?)
5. MORE Free Burma mixes.
6. Event coverage and mixes from Global Gathering.
7. FKL on Virb.com
and even more!
Until then, check out this awesome video from the TED talks on How to Listen to Music with your Whole Body:
The ascendant freedom dominatrix, EJ, flogs us a driving house mix that’s left our collective psyche’s bleeding.
A stark contrast from her last stickybeatz mix, her recent contribution to the Free Burma Initiative is lined with an accented tribal mentality mashed up with flawless progressions. Her track selection for this mix resonates very closely with the Initiative and promises to take you on a thought provoking ride from contemplation right up to the dance.

The Attack from the East
After a really really really really long haitus, CbellJ - the east Malaysian detonation specialist - sends us some solid big room in support of the Free Burma.
We are especially impressed at CBellJ’s new HardNRG sound - which is a borderline between acid-techno’s psychedelic elements, hard-trance’s speed as well as hard-style’s solid thumps. Beautifully mixed with some terrorizing Tidy Boys (When was the last time YOU heard that name? Me? 1994…), Grady, and the fearsome Technikal.

6. Wid and Ben - Hate Theory
7. Dark By DEsign & Phil York - Bad Idea
8. Masif DJs - No Good for Me (Matt Williams remix)
9. Technikal - Summassault (original remix)
10. Sol Ray & Dark By Design - Paradise (Tom x Remix)
Just in from Kamo (DBCO / BONGO), ambassador for Shawn Livewire who hails currently out of Singapore:
—
Dude,
Here’s the review:
The first thing I that went through my mind as Shawn Livewire’s Sept Mix kicked off was, ‘Awesome. It’s going to be one of those dark and moody mixes!’
Boy, was I wrong.
Bringing the sounds of drum n bass and breakbeats to every possible listener is his main goal, and just like Shawn’s incessant touring habit - he’s rocked the subs in Florida, Georgia and Texas, USA as well as places like Spain, Indonesia, China and Singapore - a great mix is a mix that can go anywhere, as and when you please, from liquid funk to jump-up and the hard and nasty.
Freshly baked progressive sounds from Manwë Elessar, who makes a debut on FKL with a lush mix flooded with edged rhythms and memorable vocal work.
Beautiful Things from Andain, remixed by G&D - a pure anthem progressive, sets the tone for a bigger rush. Also check out the Comfortably Numb redux as well as the remix work from Blake Jarrell and Toper Jones. Lovely stuff.

This guy’s a peace-driven mediator of tension and leading contributor to the FKL’s FREE BURMA initiative. We’ve had some pretty serious discussions about peace and compassion, so when MONK’S STARTED GETTING ATTACKED in Burma, No.4 was one of the 1st people to chime up.
No.4’s latest tech/house mix features some killer blends between Depeche Mode, Phil Kieran, and Slim Yellow. A precision sound filled with subtle stabs and lush filtering — backing a great progressive-mentality.
