[FKL] No.4 - Awake Zion

Waking The Kids Up

zion.jpg

Radzy and I were listening to this mix over the weekend, and we were very pleasantly suprised at the level of innovation that many of our artists have been rising rapidly towards.

No.4’s one of our artists that’s really got to get credit for it though.

This particular mix, opening with some Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, flows into a wonderfully introspective dubstep sound blending in and out of some beautiful lyricism and delicate mixing.

Featuring dubstep sub-riders Loefah, Roll Deep, and some really unconventional blends into Switchblade Symphony and Trentemoller; this mix really highlights the hard work that No.4 has been putting in developing his signature aurally-philosophical sound.

A masterpiece. F**k. What a great way to start the year.
