Sirius has been holed up in his lab during one of the most brutal winters in Buffalo’s recent history and, after much hounding, has given us a little teaser of what he has brewing…
An Illectic Teaser
This quick mixset seduces with the opening track by Melleefresh & Deadmau5 , then a punchy bass-driven follow through with Drumattic Twins remixing Deibeat leads into one of my favorite Breaks producers, also from upstate New York, DJ Fixx. Sirius had to represent the home team… Sirius’ track selection guides us logically to a chunky, dirty, electro-tech grand finale with none othern that DJ Dan and Speculum.
Like the subtle storm that rolls in over a city at night, this set balances the expected with flashes of inspired nuance that makes it pure Sirius. As usual Sirius, takes through a mind-explosive journey of aural bliss… Can’t wait to hear the full-length mix he’s promised to drop on us next time…
