This is definitely my kinda DnB. Hard. Pounding. Bone-jarring. Audiotrixx starts the week with an all out ‘take-no-prisoners’ assault, hell-bent on jangling your very perception.
In the dude’s own words:
“In Transition” takes you into the realm of dark neuro funk, technoid and hard tech step materials…The term “In Transition” was based on the matters of life changing experiences. Changes that leads to a logical adaptation to one’s environment.
An intricately woven collage featuring some of Electronica’s hardest hitters with the likes of Ben Sage, Telemetrik, Phace, DJ Hidden and *omg* Limewax. And the ‘Timang Burung‘ intro? The placid calm before the ravenous storm. Prepare to be detonated!!

Fellow FKL Editor, Pascal Dupuy a.k.a Dj Möet serves up a vivaciously-thumping DnB set with the sixth installation of his ‘Groundbreaking’ themed sets, which sees Big Boy dishing out a concrete sonic wallop.
Starting of with the attention arresting ‘Girls and Boys’ from Aquasky, the mix progresses into various DnB sub-territories, blending a whole lot of soul and funk with more than enough bass to put a smirk on any Junglist’s face. Look out for some killer tracks from Dj Zinc, Jenna G, Jet Li (?!!!), Nu:Tone and High Contrast, amongst others.

The Resistiv3 crew recently churned some guts and most probably gave a few people a sensory lobotomy with their back to back sessions at KL’s Palate Palette Restaurant & Bar. And even though I wasn’t able to make the show, judging from these mixsets, it must have been one hell of a night!
From the most brooding Dubstep to the utter mayhem some absolute killer DnB, the Resistiv3 crew are surely sending out shockwaves that are rattling the local scene at its very foundations.
Featuring the brilliant talents of Tubby, Chi-Pulp, An-Owl, MH, Mac and Kain (Ohm Resistance), this is just, I hope, a precursor of many more Resistiv3 events to come. Download and be blown away!
Hear ye, hear ye! There is a new bad bwoy steppa on the scene!

Just in from Kamo (DBCO / BONGO), ambassador for Shawn Livewire who hails currently out of Singapore:
—
Dude,
Here’s the review:
The first thing I that went through my mind as Shawn Livewire’s Sept Mix kicked off was, ‘Awesome. It’s going to be one of those dark and moody mixes!’
Boy, was I wrong.
Bringing the sounds of drum n bass and breakbeats to every possible listener is his main goal, and just like Shawn’s incessant touring habit - he’s rocked the subs in Florida, Georgia and Texas, USA as well as places like Spain, Indonesia, China and Singapore - a great mix is a mix that can go anywhere, as and when you please, from liquid funk to jump-up and the hard and nasty.
Pascal was one of our first artists who took up the challenge to release a FREE BURMA mix for us. A humanity-conscious and spiritually-driven individual, his imperative for liberating the oppressed rings clearly in this blend of freedom songs, drum and bass, and existentialist breaks.
Featuring the lithe sounds of Bluez & Bronco, Tronik 100, and J. Majik. The start to a soundtrack for REMEMBERING the people of Burma, and our plea to the planet to NOT FORGET.
Keep this on your iPod - Spread it through the planet. And pray for a FREE BURMA!

An Owl, a 2nd generation event organizer with the Loops Collective DnB team, recently claimed several massive nights at 2 prominent locations within Kuala Lumpur.
Working closely with Loops Collective founder, DJ Low, the team along with the local junglist-troopers are slowly but surely infecting the post-shuffler generation with a less ridiculous alternative.
This Monday starts off with some hushed liquid grooves from funk pugilists Concord Dawn and Blame, but taking it to a high-tower energies with the likes of Robot Death Squad and Spor. A dichromatic mix filled with staccato cuts and a bombshell tracklist. A fun and progressive journey that Molotovs you from lighthearted to despotic.

Speaking of drum and bass…
Sundrops from the Summer Empire
Pascal Dupuy aka DJ Moet, representing a diverse range of deep sounds, hails from Florda’s underground dance movement armed with confident deck technique and a massive personality. The ONLY DJ so far on FKL who has had the guts to belt down a microphone, and do it well; RESPECT.
Featuring the gliding sounds of Calibre, Junior Cartel, and featuring a touch of jumps and heavy stepping with AK 1200 in the later mix. A tight blend of what can be decribed as soulfully calculated liquid drum and bass (like Marcus Intalex with a touch of Frankie Knuckles‘ dancefloor spirtuality!) this is one mix we are VERY happy to host.
